We accommodate visit from schools and interest group, upon request by way of letters and telephone calls.
Hour for visit or tours are mostly done in the morning hrs. Monday to Friday from 9:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs.
Persons should note that when there is a sittings of the National Assembly or meetings of Parliamentary Committees the Parliament Office will not accept tours or visits.
Sittings of the National Assembly begins at 2:00 p.m.
Attending debates or sittings of the National Assembly are generally open to the public except on special occasion such as Ceremonial Opening of the National Assembly by the President of Guyana other occasion would be the addressing of the National Assembly by other countries Head of State.
Persons or group visiting must at all times check with security and receptionist upon arriving and leaving.

Short or brief OVERVIEW of the Sergeant-At-Arms section
The Sergeant-At-Arms section is responsible for mainly the internal security maintenance of the compound and building, cleaning of offices.
Make preparation for sitting of the National Assembly and Committees Meeting. Maintain the Parliament Office inventory, supervising the contractors and their work.
The Sergeant-At-Arms is also responsible for bearing of the Mace and announced the arrival of the Speaker.
Ensuring Members of Parliament and Members of the public are properly dress, keep the order of the Public.
Ensuring there is a quorum before start of a sitting.
