Biography

An Attorney at Law by Profession Mr. Trotman entered the field of politics in 1994 as a People’s National Congress councilor for the City of Georgetown. He represented that same party in the National Assembly from 1998 to 2006. He parted ways with the PNC to team up with Kemraj Ramjattan, a former PPP/C Member of Parliament and Minister along with Ms. Sheila Holder from the Working People’s Alliance to form the Alliance for Change. The AFC contested the 2006 elections with Mr. Trotman as the Party’s Presidential Candidate.
