2024 Budget Presentations come to a close

The curtain closed on the 2024 Budget Presentations during the 76th Sitting of the National Assembly of the Twelfth Parliament.
The Sitting took place in the Dome of the Arthur Chung Conference Centre (ACCC), Liliendaal, Greater Georgetown, E.C.D.
A total of seven Members of Parliament, three members from the Government and four members from the Opposition benches, respectively, appeared in the Speakers’ Line-up.
The presenters were as follows:

• Hon. Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark A. Phillips, M.S.S., M.P., Prime Minister

Opposition
• Dr. Asha Kissoon, M.P., Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly
• Ms. Catherine A. Hughes, M.P.
• Ms. Volda Lawrence, M.P.
• Mr. Aubrey Norton, M.P., Opposition Leader
Four days were allocated for the consideration of the Estimates and Expenditures for the fiscal year 2024, commencing on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at 10 a.m.
