The 2nd Sitting of the National Assembly of the Twelfth Parliament will be held at 10.00 a.m. on Wednesday, 9th September, 2020.
The Sitting will be held in the Dome of the Arthur Chung Conference Centre, Liliendaal, Greater Georgetown.
This following is according to the National Assembly’s Order Paper:
- Suspension of Standing Orders Nos. 10(2) and 38(9)(a)
The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Governance will move the Motion to suspend the above-mentioned Standing Orders to enable the Minister with responsibility for Finance to complete, uninterrupted, the reading of the Budget Speech for 2020.
- Budget Presentation 2020
The Minister with responsibility for Finance will move the Motion for the approval of the Estimates of Revenues and Expenditure for the financial year 2020.
