Agencies examined during Day Three of the Considerations of the 2023 Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure

Day three of the Consideration of the Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure for the fiscal year 2023 saw the allocation of line items for various agencies approved.
The business, conducted at the 61st Sitting of the National Assembly of the Twelfth Parliament, was held in the Dome of the Arthur Chung Conference Centre (ACCC), Liliendaal, Greater Georgetown, E.C.D.
The House moved that the Current and Capital Expenditure for the following agencies stand part of the Estimates.
- Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development
- Region No. 1: Barima/Waini
- Region No.2: Pomeroon/Supenaam
- Region No. 3: Essequibo Islands/West Demerara
- Region No. 4: Demerara/Mahaica
- Region No. 5: Mahaica/Berbice
- Region No. 6: East Berbice/Corentyne
- Region No. 7: Cuyuni/Mazaruni
- Region No. 8: Potaro/Siparuni
- Region No. 9: Upper Takatu/Upper Essequibo
- Region No. 10: Upper Demerara/Upper Berbice
At 10:29 p.m., the Hon. Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark A. Phillips, M.S.S., M.P., Prime Minister, moved the Motion for the adjournment of the Sitting.
The fourth and final day for the Consideration of the Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure for the fiscal year 2023 will continue tomorrow, February 2, 2023, at 10.00 a.m.
