Angoy’s Avenue Youth Friendly Space & Golden Om Dharmic Youth Organisation Advances to the Finals

Angoy’s Avenue Youth Friendly Space and Golden Om Dharmic Youth Organisation secured their spots in the finals for the Speaker’s National Youth Debating Competition 2022.
During the morning session, Angoy’s Avenue Youth Friendly Space defeated the Small Steps, Big Impact Youth Group.
The combined scores for the judges were as follows: for the Proposition, Small Steps, Big Impact Youth Group, 243 points, and 262 points for the Opposing side, Angoy’s Youth Friendly Space.
The moot for that debate was “Spots is the Best Contributor to Social Cohesion.”

Ms. Latoya Bethune and Ms. Malika Russell were adjudged Best Debaters for that Matchup.
For the afternoon session, the Golden Om Dharmic Youth Organisation emerged as the victor against Kast Talent Management to secure their place in the finals.
The combined scores for the judges were as follows: for the Proposition, Golden Om Dharmic Youth Organisation, 89.6 points, and 88.4 points for the Opposing side, Kast Talent Management.
The moot for that debate was, “International aggression must not be condoned.”

The Best Debaters were Ms. Sherryann Mangru and Ms. Crystal Wills.
This year’s Finals for the Speaker’s National Youth Debating Competition is slated for May 31, 2022.
