Day 2: Round 1 of Speaker’s National Youth Debating Competition 2022 Continues tomorrow.

Two debates are slated for tomorrow as day two of the Speaker’s National Youth Debating Competition continues.
In the third debate, the Anna Regina Youth Group will put forward arguments on the moot, ‘Financial Institutions should offer 5% interest on loans to youth for investment’, with the audacious debaters from Kast Talent Management arguing against it.
That debate will commence at 9 a.m.
In the fourth debate, the Bartica Youth Group will hope to impress the judges as they put forward their arguments on the moot 'Guyana’s oil and gas industry and the green economy are not contradictory'. The crafty debaters from the Berbice Development Youth Group will argue against it.
That matchup will commence at 2 p.m.
The debates will be streamed live on the Parliament Website, Facebook, YouTube Pages, and on the National Communication Network (NCN)
The Guyana Learning Channel & GlobeSpan will also facilitate coverage of the debates.
