Day Five: Consideration of the 2020 Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure

As the curtains came down on the week for the Consideration of the 2020 Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure, approval was given by the House for allocations to various agencies.
The House moved that the Current and Capital Expenditure for the following agencies stand part of the Estimates:
- Ministry of Housing and Water
- Ministry of Public Health
- Ministry of Health
- Ministry of Social Protection
- Ministry of Human Services and Social Security
- Ministry of Labour
- Ministry of Public Security
- Ministry of Home Affairs
- Ministry of Finance
A Motion, by the Hon. Hon. Bishop Juan A. Edghill, M.S., J.P., M.P., Minister of Public Works, was moved to amend the provision to extend the hours beyond 8.00 p.m. to complete the business of the day.
The Sitting was adjourned to Tuesday, 29th September, 2020 at 9.30 A.M.
Budget 2020 was held in the Dome of the Arthur Chung Conference Centre (ACCC), Liliendaal, Greater Georgetown, in order to comply with the physical distancing COVID-19 measure.
