Day one of the Consideration of the 2020 Estimates of Revenue and Expenditure saw the allocation of line items for various agencies approved.
The House moved that the Current and Capital Expenditure for the following agencies stand part of the Estimates.
- Ministry of the Presidency
- Office of the President
- Guyana Defence Force
- Office of the Prime Minister
- Ministry of Legal Affairs
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation
- Ministry of Public Service
A Motion, by the Hon. Bishop Juan A. Edghill, M.S., J.P., M.P., Minister of Public Works, was moved to amend the provision to extend the hours beyond 8.00 p.m. to complete the business of the day.
The Sitting was adjourned to Tuesday, 22nd September, 2020.
