Delegates for the CPA Training Seminar pay a courtesy call on the Minister of Health

Deputy Speaker of the Surinamese National Assembly, Hon. Dewanchandrebhose Sharman and attending delegates for the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Training Seminar today paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Health, Dr. Frank Anthony, M.P.
The meeting took place in Minister’s Office at the Ministry of Health, Brickdam, Georgetown.

During the meeting, discussions leaned on the comparisons and focused on the exchange of knowledge to provide further improvements to the Health Care Systems in their respective nations.
The discussion also revolved around future legislation to boost the services provided by the Health Ministry.
Present during the visit were Parliamentarian, Mr. Ebu Jones, LL.B, M.P., along with Advisor of International Relations, Mr. Steven Ishwardat, and Logistics Employee for International Relations, Mr. R. Banel, attached to the National Assembly of the Republic of Suriname.
Programmes Manager – Coordinator, Commonwealth Parliamentarians with Disabilities & Youth Engagement, Mr. Clive Barker, Deputy Head of Programmes - Multilateral Engagement, Mr. James Pinnell and Executive Officer, Ms. Avni Kondhia, attached to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Secretariat.
Association (CPA), Members of Parliament (Guyana), Dr. Vishwa Mahadeo, M.P., Dr. Bheri Ramsaran, M.P., and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Narine Singh attached to the Ministry of Health.
Parliamentary Executive Assistant, Ms. Christina Ramroop, Public Relations Officer, Mr. Yannick December, and Research and Analytical Assistant Ms. Leelawattie Panchu attached to the Parliament Office were also present during the visit.
