GEORGETOWN - In order to facilitate the smooth execution of the funeral procession and ensure public safety, certain road closures will be implemented. We kindly request the cooperation and understanding of all road users during this period.
Route: From Parlor to Residence – North onto Lime street, East on Brickdam, North on Vlissengenand East into Eping Avenue.
From Residence of Freedom House – West on Eping Avenue, South on Vlissingen, West along Croal Street, North on King Street, East into Robb street.
From Freedom House to Parliament Building – East on Robb street, South along Wellington Street, West on Croal Street, South onto Avenue of the Republic, West into Brickdam at Parliament Building.
From Parliament Building to NAACIE – Brickdam East into Avenue of the Republic, North along Avenue of the Republic into Main Street, North on Main Street into High street.
From NAACIE to Cremation Site Good Hope ECD-North along High Street, East along Young Street, east along Carifesta Avenue, East along Rupert Craig Highway.

Please note that members of the Guyana Police Force Regional Division # 4 ‘A’ will be present to direct traffic and provide assistance along the designated alternate routes. We kindly request all road users to follow the instructions of law enforcement personnel and exercise caution while navigating the area.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by these temporary road closures, which are necessary to ensure the smooth execution of the funeral procession and pay respects to Mr. Chase's contributions to our community and nation.
