Good Hope Police Youth Group seizes victory in match one for Region 2 in the Speaker’s Regional Youth Debating Competition 2023

It was an afternoon of stellar debates as the Good Hope Police Youth Group today toppled the Essequibo Dharmic Naujawaan Youth Group in match one for Region 2 during the afternoon session of the Speaker’s Regional Youth Debating Competition 2023.
The combined scores for the judges were as follows: for the Proposition, Good Hope Police Youth Group, 558 points, and 530 points for the Opposing side, Essequibo Dharmic Naujawaan Youth Group.
The moot for this debate was, “Separation of powers works in Guyana.”
The Best Debater for this match was Ms. Chavelle Solomon of the Good Hope Police Youth Group.
