Region 4 Round 2 matchups to conclude tomorrow as the Speaker’s Regional Youth Debating Competition 2023 continues

Four Youth Groups from Region 4 are scheduled to debate against each other tomorrow, Tuesday, April 18, 2023, to wrap up Round 2 for Region 2 in this year’s Speaker’s Regional Youth Debating Competition. In the morning session, the Youth Arise Youth Group will debate against the Enterprise Young Professionals Youth Group at 9.30 a.m.
The Moot for that debate is Guyanese should directly benefit from oil revenues.
At 11 a.m., the University of Guyana Men’s Action Network (UGMAN) Youth Group will debate against the Cummings Lodge Youth Movement Youth Group.
The moot for that debate is Legislation alone will not improve our nation’s mental health.
For the afternoon session, the UGSS Turkeyen Youth Group will debate against the Nyah Foundation Youth Group. The moot for that matchup is Corporal punishment should not be banned.
Only two teams from Region 4 can qualify for this year’s Speaker’s National Youth Debating Competition.
