Small Steps Big Impact Youth Group, for the second year in succession, advances to the second round as they defeated the No. 58 Swing Star Community Developer Group in match eight in the afternoon session of the Speaker’s National Youth Debating Competition 2022.
The combined scores for the judges were as follows: for the Proposition, Small Steps, Big Impact Youth Group, 256 points, and 193 points for the Opposing side, No. 58 Swing Star Community Developer Group.
Their debate centered on the moot: Mental Health Issues Must be a Priority in Guyana.
