Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, the Hon. Bridgid Annisette-George today paid a courtesy call on Hon. Manzoor Nadir, M.P., Speaker of the National Assembly.
The meeting took place in the Speaker’s Chamber at the Public Buildings, Brickdam, Georgetown.

During the exchange of pleasantries, both Speakers reminisced on the recently concluded Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Training Seminar for Members of Parliament. Further discussions centered on the history of both legislatures.

After the meeting, Madame Speaker signed the visitors’ book and toured the Chamber. Her amazement at the architectural design of the ceiling within the House.
Speaker Annisette-George also met with the Clerk of the National Assembly, Mr. Sherlock Isaacs, A.A., before departing for the Airport.
Parliamentary Executive Assistant, Ms. Christina Ramroop, Public Relations Officer, Mr. Yannick December, Production Technician, Mr. Alonzo Scipio, and Confidential Secretary to the Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly, Ms. Juleanna Chatterpaul, attached to the Parliament Office, were present during the visit.
