At the 10th Sitting of the National Assembly, today, veteran politician Mr. Ganga Singh, attorney-at-law, appeared as a special guest of the Hon. Speaker of the National Assembly, Manzoor Nadir.
Mr. Singh, a five-term Member of Parliament, served as a Member of the House of Representatives from 1995 to 2020. He served as Minister of Public Utilities from 1995 – 2000, Minister of Human Development, Youth and Culture from January, 2001 - October, 2001, and Minister of Education from October, 2001 - December, 2001, and Minister of the Environment and Water Resources and Leader of Government Business in the Senate from 2012 – 2015. He was Leader of Government Business of the House of Representatives four times.
Mr. Singh presented Hon. Speaker Nadir with the latest Edition of the Erskine May Parliamentary Practice.
