The Guyana Kindness Movement Youth Group advances to the second round of the Speaker’s National Youth Debating Competition 2023.

In a display of eloquence and critical thinking, the Guyana Kindness Youth Group defeated the Good Hope Police Youth Group in round one, match two, during the 11 a.m. virtual session of the Speaker’s National Youth Debating Competition 2023.
The moot for this debate was, “Single-gender schools should be re-introduced in Guyana.”

Ms. Tatiana Norton of the winning Guyana Kindness Movement Youth Group was adjudged the Best Debater for this matchup.
The combined scores for the judges were as follows: for the Proposition, the Guyana Kindness Movement Youth Group, 206 (Average), and 185.5 points (Average) for the Opposing side, the Good Hope Police Youth Group.
The Speaker's National Debating Competition 2023 aims to foster a spirit of intellectual curiosity among youths, encourage rigorous research, and promote respectful dialogue on a wide range of pressing topics.
