UNDP Resident Representative pays Courtesy Call on Speaker of the National Assembly of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana

United Nations Development Programme (U.N.D.P.) Resident Representative to the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, Mr. Jario Valverde Bermudez, today, paid a courtesy call on the Hon. Manzoor Nadir, M.P., Speaker of the National Assembly.
They met in the Speaker’s Chamber at the Public Buildings, Brickdam, Georgetown.
During the visit, their discussion focused on various areas of mutual interest aimed at strengthening relations between the two organisations. Mr. Jario Valverde Bermudez pledged the U.N.D.P.’s continued support to the development of Parliamentarians and support staff of the Parliament of Guyana. Hon. Speaker Nadir equally committed to working with the U.N.D.P. for the further development of the Parliament of Guyana.
Parliamentary Executive Officer, Ms. Carlleta Charles, attached to the Parliament Office, was also present during the visit.
