The stage is set, the participants are primed, and anticipation fills the air as curtains open on the highly anticipated Speaker's National Debating Competition 2024.
Spanning May 14 – 21, 2024, this prestigious event brings together the finest debaters from across the nation to showcase their eloquence, wit, and intellectual prowess on a myriad of pressing topics. Hosted in the Chamber of the Public Buildings, Brickdam, this year's competition promises to be a captivating display of critical thinking and persuasive argumentation.
Three round-one matchups are scheduled for tomorrow at 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., and 2 p.m. respectively.

The Speaker's National Youth Debating Competition has been recognised as a platform for young minds to engage in constructive dialogue, challenge perspectives, and foster a culture of reasoned discourse. This competition acts as a feeder into the Annual Youth Parliament.
