Minister Parag attends Closed Meeting on IPU’s Negative Carbon Balances Resolution

The Bureau of the Standing Committee on Sustainability Development met on Tuesday, 14th March, 2023, to conclude the debate, drafting and adoption of a resolution on parliamentary efforts in achieving negative carbon balances of forests.
The resolution was derived and amended, and subsequently passed by the Committee to be adopted by the Assembly.
The Sustainable Development Committee met during the course of the Assembly from March 11 – 15, 2023.
