Ministers Persaud and Parag re-elected to IPU Bureaux

Hon. Ministers Dr. Vindhya Persaud and Sonia Parag were, on 14th March, 2023, re-elected to the IPU's Bureau of the Forum of Women Parliamentarians and Bureau of the Standing Committee on Sustainable Development, respectively.
The Hon. Ministers completed one term each and were re-elected to serve a second term. While Minister Persaud will serve for four additional years, Min. Parag will serve for another two years. The terms of service on the Bureaux are in keeping with the Statutes of the IPU.
The Bureax will next meet at the 147th IPU Assembly in Angola during October 2023.
