Georgetown, Guyana – His Excellency Mohammed Ebrahim Al Rumaihi, Qatar’s Acting Chargé d’Affaires to the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, on February 9, 2026, paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the National Assembly, the Honourable Manzoor Nadir, J.P., M.P.

The meeting was held in the Speaker’s Chamber at Arthur Chung Conference Centre (ACCC) prior to the consideration of the Budget Estimates for 2026.

During this engagement, pleasantries were exchanged between Speaker Nadir and His Excellency, followed by cordial, fruitful discussions centered on mutual interests. It underscored the commitment of both Guyana and the State of Qatar to strengthening diplomatic relations and fostering co-operation.
