UGSS Tain Campus Youth Group Advances to Second Round as Bartica Youth Group Withdraws from the Speaker’s National Youth Debating Competition 2023

Georgetown - In an unexpected turn of events, the University of Guyana Student Society (UGSS) Tain Campus Youth Group has successfully advanced to the second round of the prestigious Speaker's National Youth Debating Competition 2023, as the Bartica Youth Group officially withdrew from the Competition. The decision by the Bartica Youth Group was communicated to the event organisers shortly before the commencement of today’s matchup.
The Speaker's National Youth Debating Competition has thus far showcased some of the brightest and most articulate young minds from across Guyana. The Competition provides a platform for youth to engage in meaningful debates on critical social, economic and political issues facing the nation.
The second round of the Speaker's National Youth Debating Competition is scheduled to commence from July 4 to July 6, 2023. The event promises to be a riveting display of intellectual prowess and a testament to the remarkable talent of Guyana's youth.
