Algerian Ambassador pays courtesy call on Speaker of the National Assembly

Ambassador of Algeria to Venezuela, Concurrent on the Caribbean Countries, Hon. Kamel A. E. K. Hedjazi today paid a courtesy call on Hon. Manzoor Nadir, M.P., Speaker of the National Assembly. The meeting took place in the Speaker’s Chamber at the Public Buildings, Brickdam, Georgetown.

During the meeting, discussions sought to highlight issues of mutual interest in areas such as Oil & Gas, Agriculture, and the formation of a friendship group between the Parliaments of both countries.
In addition, discussions surrounded the electoral and parliamentary process within their respective nations.
Speaker Nadir also emphasised the importance of bilateral relations between Algeria and the Parliament of Guyana.
During his visit, Ambassador Hedjazi signed the visitors’ book.
Parliamentary Executive Officer, Ms. Carletta Charles, attached to the Parliament Office, was also present during the visit.
