The Parliament of Guyana is excited to announce that nominations are now open for the Tenth Annual Youth Parliament Youth Awards! 

We invite all former Youth Parliamentarians to nominate outstanding alumni who have made a difference, in keeping with the award criteria.

Important points to note:

• Nominations require a seconder.
•  Multiple nominations? Only the first five valid nominations per award will be considered.
•  Nominees must be aged 14–35.
•  A nominee cannot nominate himself or herself.
•  Evidence against the award criterion must be provided.

Once winners and runners-up are selected, they will be notified. Winners are expected to attend the Award Ceremony tentatively scheduled for Saturday, August 16, 2025, to accept their award. If the nominee is unable to do so, then the award would have to be accepted by an alternate on the nominee’s behalf.
