The Parliament of Guyana, in observance of Guyana’s Jubilee year of its independence, is preparing a documentary in the form of a photographic slide show depicting parliamentary activities occurring during the period 1953 to the present time. The Parliament of Guyana is hereby seeking the assistance of the public by asking citizens who may have memorabilia in the form of photographs or videos of parliamentary events which took place during that period to lend them to Parliament or to reproduce them for its use. The Parliament Office will scan and return all photographs and videos received as a consequence of this appeal. The Parliament Office will appreciate it, if it can receive responses to this request on or before Monday, 29th February, 2016.
