A team of parliamentary officials from the Parliament Office, with the assistance of regional officials, on Sunday, 6th December, 2020, distributed toys to the children of Moraikobai and Karamat on behalf of Hon. Manzoor Nadir, MP, Speaker of the National Assembly.

The team was comprised of Ms. Carlleta Charles, Parliamentary Executive Officer; Mr. Ean McPherson, Personal Assistant to the Speaker of the National Assembly; and Mr. Alanzo Scipio, Production Technician.

While in the communities, Ms. Charles delivered a message of joy to the children, noting that Hon. Manzoor Nadir intended to place a smile on their faces despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

                

Residents thanked the team and asked that their gratitude be conveyed to Hon. Speaker Nadir.

The Speaker's Christmas Outreach aims to distribute toys to 7,000 children across Guyana.
