Charge d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Guyana, Mr. Bryan Hunt paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the National Assembly, the Hon. Dr. Barton Scotland C.C.H., M.P., today, within the Speaker’s Chamber, Public Buildings, Brickdam.

In the course of the visit, Mr. Hunt and Dr. Scotland engaged in an amiable exchange about current affairs in Guyana and the region.

The Charge d’ Affaires, whose tour of duty is expected to last for another year, said that the two years that he has so far spent in Guyana have been interesting and that he would like to see good things for Guyana.

Mr. Hunt also visited the Chamber of the National Assembly where he signed the visitor’s book.
