INVITATION TO THE PUBLIC FOR WRITTEN SUBMISSIONS
The Animal Welfare Bill 2016 - Bill No 21/2016 has been committed to a Special Select Committee of the National Assembly. This Bill seeks to deal with the welfare of animals; to provide for their protection and health; and connected matters.
The Committee has begun its work and wishes to receive from members of the public, individuals and organisations with an interest in the welfare of animals their views on the Animal Welfare Bill.
The Committee is, therefore, extending an invitation to members of the public and organisations to forward written submissions of their views on the Bill no later than June 23, 2017. It is advisable that the submission addresses or speaks specifically to those segments of the Bill that are of interest to you or your organisation.
